# Website Checker for Framer

> A quality checker for Framer websites that runs inside the user's own Claude (claude.ai or Claude Code) through a remote MCP connector. It finds dead buttons, broken links, placeholder copy, missing alt text, breakpoint drift, CMS binding gaps and default metadata (29 checks), then proposes a fix for every finding. Fixes are applied by the user's own Claude through their Framer connection, one at a time, only after the user approves each one. The check code is read-only and never publishes. The server stores nothing from the user's project.

## How to add it to Claude

1. In Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
2. Name: Website Checker. URL: https://mcp.websitechecker.app/mcp
3. Click Connect and sign in with Google.
4. In a chat with the Framer connector active, ask: "Use Website Checker to check my Framer site."

Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http website-checker https://mcp.websitechecker.app/mcp`

A connector cannot be added from inside a chat; it has to be added once in Settings. After that it works in every chat.
