Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 November 2026
These terms apply when you use Website Checker for Framer (“Website Checker”, “the service”), offered by Michael Slotta, Moltkeplatz 9, 47799 Krefeld, Germany, support@websitechecker.app (“we”).
1. What the service is
Website Checker is a read-only checker for Framer websites, used through your own AI assistant, such as Claude. The service provides the check code. Your assistant runs it with your own Framer connection and returns the findings, which we format into a report. Website Checker never edits, publishes or uploads your project.
Website Checker is an independent product and is not made, endorsed or supported by Framer B.V. or Anthropic.
2. Your account
You sign in with a Google account. Keep access to it secure. You are responsible for what happens through your account and your assistant.
3. Credits and payment
- New accounts get 100 free credits.
- Quick checks are free and use no credits. Paid features draw credits from your balance at the rate shown when you use them.
- You can buy 1,000 credits for €10 or $10, or the price shown at checkout.
- Credits are bought from Polar, our merchant of record. Polar handles payment, invoices, taxes and refunds, and Polar’s terms apply to the purchase.
- Credits have no cash value and can’t be transferred. Unused credits are refunded only where the law or Polar’s refund policy requires it.
4. What the results are, and what they aren’t
The checker flags common problems: dead links, placeholder text, missing alt text, layout issues between breakpoints, and more. It does not guarantee that a site is free of errors, and it can miss problems or flag things that are intended. Review findings before acting on them.
If your assistant changes your project based on a report, those changes are made by your assistant with your Framer connection, under your control. Check them before you publish.
5. Fair use
Don’t misuse the service. That includes overloading it, getting around rate limits, accessing other people’s accounts, or reselling the check code as your own product. We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available, but we can’t promise it will always work without interruption. We may change, extend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service, we will tell you in advance and refund unused purchased credits.
7. Liability
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law requires it. For slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of essential obligations, limited to the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of service. Otherwise, our liability is excluded.
8. Ending
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account at support@websitechecker.app. We can end these terms with reasonable notice, or immediately for serious breaches.
9. Law
German law applies, without the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of the country where you live still apply.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change affects you materially, we tell you in advance. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
